A Growing Trend in Soil Testing
In spite of initial fears about the cost, the Complete Soil Balance Analysis
continues to grow in popularity. So much so, that it may soon become our
'Standard' soil test.
In an effort to support this growing trend, we will be launching a
promotional campaign during Spring 2008. Commencing in August, every customer
submitting a sample for Complete Soil Balance Analysis will also receive a FREE
pre-publication copy of Ted's new book:
"The Mikhail System
for Sustainable Soil Management"
To assist our agents in taking advantage of this trend in soil testing, Ted
is also offering to present an information workshop based on this book, for
customers who ordered a Complete soil test and have received their copy. To be eligible, agents need to send (or generate) at least 40 samples
during the promotional period from 1 July to 31 September 2008 (inclusive). The
workshops will be held at a time and venue organised by the agent, after the
close of the campaign.
The workshop will be Free to all the agent's customers who had a Complete Soil
Balance Analysis during the period above (provided there are at least 40
invitations to be sent out of course).
All agents are eligible to
participate, but those interested in taking advantage of this promotion should
contact SWEP about promotional materials that will soon be available. This will
include the usual kits, example reports and fact sheets, plus a new promotional
flier and sample copies of Ted's book to show your clients.
New
Websites
Earlier this year, we
launched a new information website for home gardeners: www.home-garden-soil-improvement.com
The generally "How To" nature of the information on this site has
proven very popular and so we have decided to set up a farming version to help
further increase the accessibility of our information.
The new site: www.farm-soil-improvement.com
will be launched shortly and the three sites will then be integrated into a more
user friendly system (more about this later). The first few pages of the new
site are already up and more will be following soon. Please let us know if you
have any comments or suggestions.
If you know anyone who may be interested in receiving this Newsletter, you can
it to them.
Send us you comments & suggestions
We love to hear from you, so please let us
know what you like, what we can do better, or what topics you would like to see
more about.

Let us know if you need kits
Don't find yourself caught short when a customer asks for a soil test right
after you have just used your last sample bag.
Let us know when you need more supplies, and don't be afraid to ask for a few
more than you need right now. Its better to have too many than not enough.
